I am honestly not such a big gloss lover. I don't like that some lip glosses are tacky and feel heavy on my lips. Since D22 Papaya is from the Diamond Collection range, it has the sheerest formula and feels lightweight and thankfully not tacky at all. Although Papaya looks like a vibrant coral red in the tube, when swatched it gives a sheer coral look. The shimmers are not very obvious and it does not feel gritty at all.
This is what it looks like on its own. It gives my lips a glossy healthy shine without adding too much colour on it. This lip gloss formula feels comfortable on my lips and did not dry them out.
I do love how it transforms my pink lipsticks. Here I have Chanel Rouge Allure in Coquette underneath Papaya. I love how juicy it looks.
|My perfect combi: Papaya over Coquette|
I think Make Up For Ever's Lab Shine Diamond Collection formula is perfect for layering and giving your lipstick that extra oomph. If you want more pigmentation, you should check out the Star and Metal collection.
