Burberry Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick No. 32 Sepia Pink Swatches and Review

Sepia Pink belongs to the Burberry Fall collection together with Mocha Glow. Sepia Pink is definitely the more wearable colour in the collection.

I have great love for Burberry Lip Covers. They are opaque with one swipe. Creamy with just enough slip and feel luxurious on my lips. Burberry also produces the nicest most wearable colours. Sepia Pink is no exception.

Sepia Pink in my eyes look like a brown pink rose colour. I like my colours to have a little ompf so this is on my lips a natural lady like colour. It is a perfect pairing with my Mulberry and Dark Sable. I have been using this a lot for work.

Lip Covers cost SGD $43.

  4. You just can't go wrong with Burberry lipsticks. This has a glossiness to it that makes it look like a lip mist!

    1. That is so true, it is glossy without being too shiny. It is one of those lipstick you don't need to top with gloss I feel.

PS Don't know if you had a chance to see DiabolusinCosmetica review on Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Mocha, but it was not too flattering, which may be good for our wallets, but I'm just really hoping she got a bad batch or something?! :( IndigoKirRoyale has preview pics of 5 of the 6 palettes she purchased & will be reviewing them soon. I'm looking forward to her opinion to see if it's even worth it for me to make the trip to my nearest Burberry counter to swatch them :/

    1. Thanks for leading me to Diabolousincosmetics, I'm so gonna get my hands on the Lip Velvets. So sad about the palette, the swatches look great though. I am also looking forward to IndigoKirRoyale's review. Should I then pick the Giorgio Armani palettes instead? I actually had my heart set on owning at least one of the Burberry palettes.

    2. Hi, I tried replying to you sooner, but for some reason it wouldn't let me :( I wouldn't put off not buying any of the Burberry Quads just yet, I think maybe it might be a different story for each quad? Now as more reviews trickle in, it seems to vary from one palette to another depending on what shades you purchased. Of course that's still terrible if it happens to be a shade you really want! I actually pre-order 2 of them (No.7 Pink Taupe & No.6 Plum Pink) to qualify for a gift with purchase, but I won't receive them till next week. I almost canceled my order after seeing a couple of reviews, but after reading Indigo's review on the Pink Taupe she stated that she felt it was more consistent with the single eyeshadows, so I have my fingers crossed! As a fellow Burberry Beauty lover I'll let you know if that rings true with my purchase as soon as I receive them ;)

    3. Hey Naomi thanks for the update. I will wait for your views on the quads before attempting to buy them. I really want to own Mocha and Plum Pink. Fingers crossed.

  6. I wasn't too interested in this one when I saw it, because I thought it would be too brown. It's lovely on you though, which makes me think I need to take a better look at it!

    1. You know, I wasn't planning on buying it because it also looked too brown to me. But I tried it at the Burberry event and it just went so well with the entire look that I just had to have it.try it Sunny, you will never know until you try it.

  7. Hey Jac, just curious how does this compare to the Chanel Rouge Coco in general?

    2. Sorry Joy my previous reply contained so many spelling errors I had to delete it. Honestly I prefer the Burberry lip cover formula, they are moisturizing and emollient with enough slip and they still feel light weight. I find the Rouge Coco a tad bit drying. I only own two RCs, most of mine are Allures. Babe you have to try these out seriously, you will love them.

  9. Babe the lipstick looks very nice on you! I thought it would look quite vampy in the tube but when applied it looks very nice on you! I am currently waiting for Burberry holiday collection :)

    1. I am waiting for it too. Indigo Kir Royale has swatches of it up n her blog but the two reviews I have read so far say that the palettes are of poorer quality then the singles. I am kinda bummed out by that. Meryl you must try a BB lipstick, you will love it.
