Loreal Infallible Eye Shadow 408 Gleaming Bronze swatches and review and a hair voucher giveaway - Closed

Dear E (thanks sweetie!) gifted me with Gleaming Bronze some time ago. I am finally getting in reviewing it. I kinda like the Infallibles but don't particularly love them because I find that when they are blended together with other colours they tend to get muddy. They are lovely for single colour looks though. E swears that the ones from the US are much softer in comparison and I have to agree with her Gleaming Bronze is pretty damn amazing.

Just look at the saturated dirty gold bronze colour. It is gorgeous!

I have to be honest with you, being the snob that I am, I have totally neglected the Infallibles for my GA ETKs. I have below for comparison Giorgio Armani's Khaki Pulse on the left and Gleaming Bronze on the right. Both are very pigmented and soft to the touch. Gleaming Bronze looks more khaki than Khaki Pulse in my opinion.

I came from from a haircut and since the sun was out I thought I would do I quick look with Gleaming Bronze. I added the dark khaki from my Chanel Ombres Matelassees Montaigne palette for the outer corner on my eyes and dabbed the darkest gold shade on the middle on my eye lids.

Pardon the unruly brows, I haven't had the time to groom them.

Okay I digress. I just got a haircut. I snipped an inch from my hair and now it feels lighter. Can you believe my hairdresser and I go way back to my Polytechnic days. I have known her for more than twenty years! Can you believe that?! Angela has seen me through many of my ups and downs and always made sure my hair was perfectly coiffed for every one of my important occasions. Without her, my hair would still be an outdated unruly mess.

Dear Angela is doing something to help the Mission Ministries, Grace Assembly of God. I bought these two vouchers from her, one for myself. I'll be doing my annual rebonding later in the year. Since I cannot use the second voucher for myself I thought maybe one of you would like to try out her services. You will get a $30 discount from your haircut, she normally charges $70. If you decide to get treatment or chemical service you will get an extra 25%. There is no expiry date on this but you can't use it in December or during the Chinese New Year month.

I am giving away this voucher to those residing in Singapore. International babes I'm so sorry. Leave me a comment about hair. Do you have a long time hair dresser? Do you like your haircut now? Anything. This giveaway is open till Sunday, 23 September 2012 12 p.m.

My dear random generator has not been doing anything so let's make him work! He will pick the lucky person.

    2. haha so true! If we spend a lot on an eyeshadow we ought to use it accordingly.

BTW, I tested the Missha lipcheek duo just for you and refraind from touching my face! as hard as I could! HAHA do you know how hard it was? XDDD so, the result: after a 9 hours workday it was still on, faded a bit, but it held well :)

  2. Hair! I used to have a regular hairdresser and we go back to my JC days. Then one day, a few months back, she left the salon I frequent. I can't really ask the other hairdresser, cuz apparently they ended on bad terms. So yeah. I would love to take part in the giftaway! I googled the hairdresser's pic and saw her funky blonde hair! :) Hahah, so no blonde hair, though I wouldn't mind a funky do. :) Thanks for the giveaway again!

    KS!
