Final Summer Haul for 2012

This summer season has been a real killer on my wallet. The summer collections by the various cosmetics brands have been so so beautiful, it was hard to resist. I present to you the last of my summer haul for 2012. No more!

I refused to buy my Burberry Summer Glow from the counters because the mark up was ridiculously high. It was selling at SGD $95 when the actual price was USD $50.  The Guerlain Terra Azzurra is selling at SGD $126 at the counters where the actual price is USD $75. I saved a good SGD $60 (not including shipping). I am patting myself on the back right now.

Anyway, on to the pictures. Drooling is allowed ;)

These are all my summer bronzers for 2012. Aren't they pretty together?

Swatches and reviews soon.

  2. Oooh you got the Sheer Summer Glow--isn't it lovely? I adore mine! That is a really good, nicely edited collection of the newly released Summer bronzers--I never got Sable Rose but I have been wanting it since BEFORE it came out! I better hurry if I ever want it!

    1. Becca, I am loving all my summer items, I try to give each one equal love by rotating them. Better get Sable Rose before it is gone.

    1. When I saw all the summer collections, I already decided what I will purchase. I can let my wallet rest for a while because so far none of the fall collections are exciting me. Whew!

    1. Nonno, I'm okay with the Guerlain scent but not absolutely in love with it either. In fact I love all of them, they are getting equal love from me as I rotate them everyday.

    1. I've suddenly become infatuated with the Burberry Sheer Summer Glow.
Helping my Dad move today has made me mentally and physically exhausted... my budgeting defences are down. I accidentally-on-purpose bought a backup highlighter from a blog sale. (Oh wait. That was two nights ago. I have no excuse!) Then I went on the Nordstrom site to see if Burberry was on sale. The Sheer Summer Glow is sold out. Something "bad" might have happened had it been in stock.

Please be my voice of reason and tell me not to buy it.
And tell me that I would be better off saving for the Hakuhodo fan brush! :D

    2. Ok my dear, do you want me to be the sane voice of reason or subtly convince you to get Summer Glow ;)

Well if you already have bronzers than you can safely skip this because bronzers come and go. Your Hakuhodo brush is going to ensure that whatever bronzer or powder you apply will look flawless and it will also feel like heaven on your face.

Do not look at the bronzer anymore besides you already bought a highlighter. Don't buy!

    3. Thank you. I got this message yesterday and it helped.
I pulled out my HG highlighter -- the one I got a backup for -- swatched it on my arm and marveled over its beauty. I had been saving it because it was LE. (Why do we do that?!) I swatched it alongside the eyeshadow I had been using instead and confirmed for myself my highlighter is far far more beautiful. I'm happy I got my backup. :)

    4. So my dear did the need to buy feeling pass? Are you safe now from impulse buying?

    5. *blush* I feel like you've caught me with my hand in the cookie jar. *blush*
Samples compose a third of my stash, but I'm considering getting this: http://www.ebeauty.ca/Combination-Sets/eBeauty-Here-Comes-The-Sun-Cosmetic-Bag/pages/productdetails?nav=R:972228 (Please delete the link if it's against your blog policy. I'm not trying to advertise.) Eek! The three things in it that are "maybes" for me are definite "yeses" for my makeup-lovin' cousin.
