Korres Lip Saver Roll Review

I bought Korres Lip Butter for a colleague a few months ago and she mentioned how moisturising it was. The Lip Saver roll is such a good excuse to try out for myself. They sell for USD $9 individually but as a set, they go for USD $19.50. Type MUSE to get a 30% discount, offer expires on 31st December 2009.

I'm buying these for my colleagues but I can't help keeping one for myself. They smell so good and look so pretty.

These contain Shea Butter and Rice Wax and according to the website, yo can apply these on your cheeks too for a sheer pop of colour. Ladies, if you have oily skin or are prone to acne, I don't advise you try it out. Stick to powder blushers instead.

Jasmine smells heavenly but looks like it is the least pigmented.

Pomegranate, a bright sheer cool pink.

Quince looks like it is a warmer pink.

I kept Pomegranate for myself and am testing it out. It has a faint fruity smell. It isn't overly glossy more of a creamy satiny texture. It leaves my lips looking naturally warmed pink. It doesn't stay on for long. I applied it again after a few hours, my lips are not peeling but they aren't very soft and supple as I hoped it would.

I think ladies who do not like heavy lipsticks would love these. Very good for days where you want to look natural and healthy.

Ratings: 3 lipsticks.

They are affordable and the colors look great. Just wish they were more moisturising.

Korres Cherry Lip Gloss Trio Review

I bought this set because I was attracted by the colours offered. They look like lovely natural colours. I love the texture and feel of these Cherry Oil Lip glosses. You can check out my in depth review of them here.
These sell individually for USD $16. They are going for USD $19.50 as a set and if you make use of this promo code MUSE you get another 30% off. Offer expires on 31st December 2009. Check out the origins of the promotion code here at Musings of a Muse.

11 - Light Pink

Nude (Just realised that this color isn't in the regular line up.)

23 - Light Purple

I'm instantly attracted to Nude, although it doesn't look really nude on my arm. Light Purple and Light Pink looks like it will not be suitable for me though. Too pale. I might try out Light Pink just to see how it looks on my lips but Light Purple is definitely not me. I'm sure this set will suit the lighter skin tone ladies better.

Korres Haul

This is the second haul of my series of hauls. I went mad in late October and order a lot of things from a lot of places. Anyway, I'm a little miffed about this haul. I ordered it one day before Korres decided to have a 20% discount. I was so upset. I could have saved tons. This is my Christmas gift haul. I planned to give them away as little gifts to my colleagues and keep some for myself.

I really love Korres. They make natural products and high quality products. I love every item I bought from them. We have a store in Singapore but they are highly marked up. It really makes sense to buy online.

I got a shopper's high just looking at the amount of stuff. I'm so sick! I have to say though, they aren't all mine, some of these belong to my colleague.
Between my colleague and myself, we ordered 4 sets of Lip Savers, 3 sets of Mango Lipsticks, 2 Quince Butter sets, 1 Lip gloss trio and 1 Vanilla Plum set.
And I received a Plum Lip gloss plus free samples so yay!

These are the Lip Savers. They are pigmented lip balm in Jasmine, Quince and Pomegranate.

The cherry oil lip gloss trio in Nude, Light Pink and Light Purple.

Quince Butter set, this includes a body butter and a lip balm. Quince has a lovely sweet and spicy scent.

The mango lipsticks in Natural Brown, Natural Purple, Orange Red and Orange Brown.
And for a Christmassy mood, Vanilla Plum set which includes a body butter, bath gel and lip balm.

Nordstrom haul has arrived!

It was a really long wait but 3 out of 5 of my hauls have arrived. It couldn't have arrived at a better time. Work is leaving me mentally exhausted. Seeing my items just perks me up.
I'm going to start of with the one I'm most pleased about. My Nordstrom haul.
I will be honest, the one reason why I decided to buy some items from Nordstrom was because of this pretty Trina Turk makeup bag filled with amazing Clinique goodies. So long as you ordered $30 worth of Clinique products, you get this for free. My favourite Clinique makeup remover was running low so I decided to buy it and get the freebie.

Have a look at what is inside.

A colour surge quad in Pink Chocolate.

Blush in Cupid.

A set of three brushes. A blush brush, eye shadow brush and lash and brow comb. They aren't of the best quality but still usable. I intend to use the blush brush for my liquid highlighters and bronzers.

A facial cleanser.

All about Eyes eye cream.

A mascara.

A long last lipstick in Pink Chocolate.

To top up the $30 I decided to try Clinique's Up-Lighting Liquid in Bronze.

After much thought I decided to get GA's Fluid Sheer (My first regular sized bottle) in Amber.

I'm a really satisfied woman right now. :)
